Position Summary: Serves as the first point of contact for the company, welcoming and directing both visitors and calls appropriately. Ideal candidates will be outgoing, personable, comfortable with technology, and eager to represent DISA well.
Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
Answer, screen, and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
Must be punctual for the work day of Monday – Friday, 8 AM- 5 PM
Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.
Performs other miscellaneous administrative tasks, as assigned
Must be able to monitor and maintain office equipment
Ability to control inventory relevant to reception area
Ability to tidy and maintain the reception area, break room and conference rooms
Very strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Outlook, Excel, and Word
Proven working experience in similar roles
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
High school degree
